FAQ

PRICING AND PAYMENTS
Qr8 Nutrition has programs to help you improve your gut health, skin health, mood or manage your weight. All developed and delivered by experienced Accredited Practicing Dietitians (APD) so you know there are no fad diets or quick fix gimmicks involved – just the best and latest scientific evidence that Qr8 is known for.
After completing a detailed health and lifestyle questionnaire, you will meet with your dietitian during a 45-minute video (telehealth) appointment to chat about your health goals. During this appointment, your dietitian will help you separate fact from fad and set some shared goals. You will receive a 3-month nutrition plan to help you achieve those goals.
Then your dietitian becomes your personal nutrition coach, providing all the personalized support, advice, motivation and education you need to stay on track, and make positive health changes. This kind of personalized support has been shown in scientific studies to significantly improve positive outcomes for patients.
And because our service is delivered online, you can get healthy (and stay healthy) in your own home!
There is a $50 reservation fee (redeemable on treatment cost) to secure a video consult with a dietitian. If your dietitian assesses you as unsuitable for treatment, the reservation fee will be refunded to you within 24 hrs of your appointment.
If you are suitable for treatment, we will invoice you for a one-off, all-inclusive charge, less your booking reservation fee. The total treatment cost includes:
- Your 1:1 video appointment with an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD)
- A 3-month nutrition plan
- Unlimited email and SMS support from your dietitian throughout your journey with us (including personalised advice, motivation and education)
The reservation fee is non-refundable for late cancellations or arrivals, no-shows, and if you choose not to continue with treatment after your video consult. See our T&C for more information.
Our service costs $460/3 months ($153/month). After each 3-month treatment cycle you will meet with your dietitian for a review and can choose to continue your health journey with subsequent 3 month treatment plans.
Because change doesn’t happen overnight, you can continue your journey with Qr8 Nutrition for as long as required to achieve your goals.
You will pay for your 3-month plan as a one-off payment after meeting with your dietitian and before commencing your treatment. See our T&C for more information.
We do not offer part payment plans currently. Sign up to our mailing list below so we can notify you if this changes.
No we don’t. We believe that you should be able to meet with your dietitian and review your progress before deciding to continue your lifestyle journey with us.
Following your video consult, your dietitian will send an email confirming your recommended treatment. This email contains a link to a secure credit card payment system, or you can pay by direct deposit.
We do not offer payment plans or PayPal currently.
Your 3 month treatment plan commences once we receive your payment.
Some health funds provide a rebate on dietetics services as part of Extras cover. Email us at [email protected] and we will issue a receipt for you to present to your private health fund.
Telehealth appointments are not covered by either Medicare or private health funds at this stage.

OUR SERVICES
We have different treatment programs for optimum skin or gut health, weight management and improving mood with food.
Our science-backed programs have been developed by experienced Qr8 Nutrition Clinical Lead, Chloe McLeod APD. Chloe also supervises the Qr8 Nutrition team of dietitians.
Our dietitians are all Accredited Practicing Dietitians (APD), registered with Dietitians Australia (click HERE to search the register).
To become an APD, dietitians must have a 4-year degree from an accredited Australian university course, or pass an examination if their degree was completed outside Australia. APD must also complete ongoing education programs to ensure that they stay up-to-date with evidence-based nutrition information. They also practise according to Professional Standards: DAA Code of Professional Conduct and Statement of Ethical Practice.
There may be some cross-over in treatment plans (eating well impacts your health in many ways!). Your dietitian will discuss this with you during your video consult.
Not sure if our service is right for you? Contact us on [email protected] and our team will be happy to advise you.
Qr8 Nutrition plans are designed by registered and experienced dietitians (click here to read about our Qr8 Nutrition Clinical Leader) using the latest scientific evidence. They can also be tailored to your dietary requirements and preferences.
To ensure you stay on track, your dietitian also becomes your personal coach – educating, motivating and supporting you to make healthier decisions during your journey. Just ask your questions using our text-support service and your dietitian will respond directly to you. This kind of personalized support has been shown in scientific studies to significantly improve positive outcomes for patients.
And because our service is delivered online, you can get healthy (and stay healthy) in your own home.
We only treat patients aged 18 or older. But if you are aged between 12-17 please contact us on [email protected] – we may be able to treat you with parental consent.
Our plans can be tailored to suit your dietary requirements and preferences (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc).
Our service is not suitable if you are pregnant. If you are breastfeeding, please contact us on [email protected] and our team can advise if our service is suitable for you.
In general, yes, but this will be assessed by your dietitian before your consult to ensure your condition falls within our area of expertise. If we cannot treat you, we will contact you to refer you to the appropriate health professional.
We do not treat those with a suspected or diagnosed eating disorder. Please contact your GP or The Butterfly Foundation for advice and support.

Change doesn’t happen overnight, so we designed Qr8 Nutrition as an ongoing service to help you reach your goals.
We will remind you to book a video review with your dietitian every 3 months to reassess and adjust your plan as required.

We take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously, and follow all legal obligations with respect to patient confidentiality.

We will never share your clinical details or photographs with anyone outside our team without your written consent. Read more about this in our Privacy Policy.
First you will need to complete our online health and lifestyle questionnaire. Once you submit this, you will be redirected to our online portal to register and book an appointment.

Our service is only available within Australia. Sign up to our mailing list below so we can notify you if this changes.
We will email and text you a secure telehealth link that you click at the time of your appointment to access the secure video link.
Technology issues can happen during your video appointment. Sometimes this is due to a slow internet connection or security settings at your end. We recommend that you try your telehealth link well before your appointment time to resolve any issues.
If your link doesn’t work you can contact our help team for assistance well before your appointment by emailing us on [email protected]. We cannot provide assistance at the time of your appointment however.
If your video link drops out during your consult, your dietitian will attempt to reconnect, then contact you by phone. If they cannot continue the appointment, our team will contact you to rebook another appointment.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Can’t make your appointment? No problem, we know life gets a little crazy sometimes. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hrs before your booking time in our online portal (click HERE to access) or let us know in writing at least 24 hrs before your appointment time by emailing [email protected]
Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment within 24 hrs of the appointment time, not showing up or showing up late to your appointment, means someone else misses out and our dietitians time is wasted. IF YOU CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT WITHIN 24 HRS OF THE BOOKING TIME, FAIL TO SHOW UP OR SHOW UP LATE, YOUR RESERVATION FEE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
There is no charge if your dietitian decides you are not an appropriate candidate for our service. Your $50 reservation fee will be refunded to your default payment method within 24 hrs of your appointment.
Your reservation fee is non-refundable if you decide you don’t wish to proceed with treatment after your consult.
We don’t offer a free trial as lifestyle change is a marathon, not a sprint.
You will pay for each 3-month treatment cycle after meeting with your dietitian online. Once you have paid for your treatment, we do not offer refunds. Please read our T&C for more information.
